Blind Urban Walk

Walking in a fast-paced, crowded urban environment alters our perception of the people surrounding us. Focused on our own thoughts and plans, we live a busy life of urban indifference and social isolation that is run against the clock. We feel surrounded by people and yet completely alone at the same time, perceiving people along our way as just moving objects or hulking obstacles that are an annoying presence. We almost don't see them as humans or souls anymore, but rather as unwelcome distractions from our thoughts, or something that is responsible for slowing us down as we walk blindly, speedily and absurdly on our way. We don't look into their eyes or remember their faces. We don't see.
